SJVN Limited has officially released the SJVN Executive Trainee Recruitment 2025 notification. The recruitment drive offers a golden opportunity for young professionals to contribute to one of India’s fastest-growing power sector companies.
A total of 114 vacancies have been announced for Executive Trainee posts in multiple disciplines.
SJVN Executive Trainee Vacancy 2025: Post Details
The SJVN Executive Trainee vacancies are available across several disciplines:
- Civil Engineering – 30 posts
- Electrical Engineering – 15 posts
- Mechanical Engineering – 15 posts
- Human Resource – 7 posts
- Environment – 7 posts
- Geology – 7 posts
- Information Technology – 6 posts
- Finance – 20 posts
- Law – 7 posts
The recruitment also includes 4 reserved positions for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD).
Eligibility Criteria for SJVN Executive Trainee Posts
Candidates must hold a full-time degree or equivalent in the relevant discipline from a recognized institute. The educational qualifications required for the SJVN Executive Trainee roles vary by field, such as BE/B.Tech in engineering disciplines, MBA in HR/Finance, M.Sc./M.Tech in Geology, and LLB for Law.
Marks criteria:
- 55% marks for General/OBC/EWS categories.
- 50% marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
- For CA/ICWA-CMA candidates, a simple pass is acceptable.
Final-year students are also eligible to apply for SJVN Executive Trainee posts, provided they can submit their final results by July 31, 2025.
Age Limit and Relaxation
The upper age limit for all SJVN Executive Trainee posts is 30 years. Relaxations are applicable for reserved categories:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (NCL): 3 years
- PwBD: 10 to 15 years, depending on the category
SJVN Executive Trainee Selection Process
The selection process for the SJVN Executive Trainee recruitment includes three stages:
- Computer-Based Test (CBT) – 150 MCQs, no negative marking
- Group Discussion – 10% weightage
- Personal Interview – 15% weightage
To qualify, General/EWS candidates must score at least 50% marks, while reserved category candidates must secure 40%.
Salary and Benefits
Selected candidates under the SJVN Executive Trainee program will receive a pay scale of ₹50,000–1,60,000 (IDA). Additional benefits include:

Post training, candidates will be absorbed as Engineers/Officers with regular salary hikes and career progression.
Service Bond

- ₹10 lakhs for General/OBC/EWS
- ₹7.5 lakhs for SC/ST/PwBD
They must serve the organization for at least three years after training.
