A. Educational Qualification (As of 04.12.2025):
- Graduate Apprentice: B.E./B.Tech./BBA in relevant branch with min. 70% marks for GEN/EWS/OBC and 60% for SC/ST from an AICTE-recognized institute. Passing year must be 2023 or later.
- Technician (Diploma) Apprentice: Diploma in relevant engineering branch from an AICTE-recognized institute. Passing year must be 2023 or later.
- ITI Trade Apprentice: 10th/Matriculation + ITI passed in relevant trade from an NCVT-recognized institute located in MP (Relaxation for wards of BHEL employees). Min. 60% marks for GEN/EWS/OBC and 55% for SC/ST. Passing year must be 2023 or later (2020 or later for wards).
B. Age Limit (As on 01.12.2025):
- Upper Age Limit: 27 years for GEN/EWS categories.
- Minimum Age: 14 years.
C. Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (NCL): 3 years
- Persons with Disability (PwD): 10 years (over and above category relaxation)
