To be eligible for admission, candidates must meet specific age and educational requirements:
Age Requirements:
- Class VI: Candidates should be aged between 10 and 12 years as of 31 March 2025. This means they must be born between 01 April 2013 and 31 March 2015.
- Class IX: Candidates should be aged between 13 and 15 years as of 31 March 2025, i.e., born between 01 April 2010 and 31 March 2012.
Note: A six-month relaxation in the upper age limit is provided for the wards of personnel Killed in Action.
Educational Qualifications:
