NPCIL Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: To be eligible for the NPCIL Recruitment 2024, candidates must meet specific educational qualifications based on the type of apprentice role they are applying for. For Trade Apprentices, applicants must hold an ITI (Industrial Training Institute) Certificate in the relevant trade, such as ITI Fitter, ITI Electrician, or ITI Electronics Mechanic. This ITI qualification must be from a recognized institute. For Diploma Apprentices, candidates should possess a Diploma in Engineering or Technology. This diploma should be awarded by a recognized university or a technical board set up by the state government, central government, or a university. For Graduate Apprentices, applicants need a Graduate degree in Engineering or Technology from a statutory university or an institution authorized by an Act of Parliament to grant such degrees. All educational qualifications must be full-time and regular courses.
Age Limit: The age criteria for different apprentice positions are clearly defined. Candidates must be at least 18 years old for all positions. The maximum age limit is 24 years for Trade Apprentices, 25 years for Diploma Apprentices, and 26 years for Graduate Apprentices, as of October 3, 2024. There is an allowance for age relaxation according to government rules, which can extend the upper age limits for candidates from certain categories.
