Eligibility Criteria for IUAC Recruitment 2024

Education Qualification and Experience: –

Librarian, Besant Arundale Senior Secondary School –

• Candidate must have passed an M.A from a recognized university or equivalent
• Candidate must have passed a Bachelor of Library Science from a recognized University or equivalent.

Experience – 05 (Five) years experience in a Library attached to a Central/ State Government institution or a special library of a similar nature.

Desirable
1. Master’s degree in Library Science from a recognized University
2. Knowledge of Library Automation
3. Ability to read and understand Sanskrit and other South Indian Languages
4. Ability to read music notations

Librarian, Besant Arundale Senior Secondary School –

• Candidate must have passed a Degree in Statistics/ Mathematics/ Operations Research/ Physics or Economics/ Commerce (with Statistics) or a Degree in Engineering/ Computer Science from a recognized University.

Experience – 2 (Two) years of experience in electronics data processing work including one year of experience in Computer programming/ operation from a reputed organization.

Desirable – Knowledge of one or more programming languages

Age limit

Librarian, Besant Arundale Senior Secondary School – Candidates’ upper age limit should be 35 years as per their post.

Librarian, Besant Arundale Senior Secondary School – Candidates’ upper age limit should be 27 years as per their post.
