CSIR-AMPRI Position Details
CSIR-AMPRI is looking to fill 12 temporary research-based posts under different sponsored projects. These include roles for Junior Research Fellows (JRFs), Project Associates (I & II), Project Assistants, and Senior/Principal Project Associates.
Some highlighted projects and roles include:
1. Principal Project Associate
- Project: Transparent & Biocompatible Metal-Polymer Composite for Radiation Shielding
- Essential Qualification: Ph.D. in Physics/Material Science/Nanotech or M.Tech with 3 years of experience
- Fellowship: ₹49,000 + HRA
- Upper Age Limit: 40 years
2. Project Associate–I (Chemistry/Polymer)
- Essential Qualification: MSc in Chemistry or BE/B.Tech in Chemical/Polymer Engineering
- Fellowship:
- ₹31,000 + HRA (for NET/GATE-qualified candidates)
- ₹25,000 + HRA (others)
- Upper Age Limit: 35 years
3. Project Associate–I (Biotechnology)
- Essential Qualification: MSc/BE/B.Tech in Biotech/Microbiology
- Fellowship & Age Limit: Same as above
4. Junior Research Fellow – Physics/Chemistry
- Project: Graphene Oxide for Water-Oil Separation and Uranium Adsorption
- Qualification: MSc in Physics/Chemistry
- Fellowship: ₹20,000 (consolidated)
- Age Limit: 35 years
5. JRF – Quantum Chemical Studies
- Essential Qualification: MSc with NET/GATE
- Fellowship: ₹37,000–₹42,000 + HRA
- Project Duration: Up to March 2028
6. Project Associate I & II – Life Sciences/Biotech
- Project: Transparent Self-Healing Skin Patches
- Fellowship:
- ₹25,000–₹28,000 + HRA
- Essential Qualification: M.Sc/B.Tech/M.Tech in Life Sciences/Biotech with relevant experience
7. Senior Project Associate – Skill Development
- Qualification: Master’s in Sciences/Engineering with 2–3 years’ experience
- Fellowship: ₹42,000 + HRA
8. Project Assistants – I & II
- Qualification: SSC + ITI / B.Sc. / Diploma
- Fellowship: ₹18,000–₹20,000 + HRA
9. Project Associate I – Radiation Shielding Research
- Project: Development of Radiation-Resistant Materials
- Qualification: M.Sc. / B.Tech in relevant fields
- Fellowship: ₹37,000 + HRA
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be an Indian Citizen.
- Qualifications must be completed by the date of interview.
- Experience and NET/GATE qualifications will be given preference.
- Maximum age limits range from 35 to 40 years, depending on the position.
