Eligibility Criteria for Chandigarh Trained Graduate Teachers Recruitment 2024
Education Qualification: –
DPE –
- Candidate must have Passed a Graduate of a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate. D.P.Ed./ B.P.Ed. or
- its equivalent with at least 50% marks in aggregate. Or Integrated degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) or its equivalent with at least 50% marks from a recognized University.
English –
- Candidate must have Passed a Graduate or its equivalent from a recognized University with English as an elective subject with at least 50% marks.
- Bachelor of Education Degree recognized by NCTE with at least 50% marks in aggregate or its equivalent with English as a teaching subject.
- Pass in Central Teacher’s Eligibility Test (Paper-Il) for the post of Masters/Mistresses as per the details conditions notified by NCTE from time to time will be applicable.
Fine Arts –
- Candidate must have Passed a B.Sc degree in Home Science or its equivalent from a recognized University with at least 50% marks.
Hindi –
- Candidate must have Passed a Graduate or its equivalent from a recognized University with Hindi as an elective subject with at least 50% marks.
- Bachelor of Education Degree recognized by NCTE with at least 50% marks in aggregate or its equivalent with Hindi as teaching subject.
- Pass in Central Teacher’s Eligibility Test (Paper-II) for the post of Masters/Mistresses as per the details conditions notified by NCTE from time to time will be applicable.
Home Science –
- Candidate must have Passed a B.Sc degree in Home Science or its equivalent from a recognized University with at least 50% marks.
- Bachelor of Education Degree recognized by NCTE with at least 50% marks in aggregate or its equivalent with Home Science/Domestic Science as teaching subject.
Mathematics –
- Candidate must have Passed a Graduate from a recognized university with Mathematics as one of the elective subjects with at least 50% marks.
- Bachelor of Education Degree recognized from an Institute recognized by NCTE with at least 50% marks in aggregate or its equivalent with Mathematics as a teaching subject.
- Pass in Central Teacher’s Eligibility Test (Paper-Il) for the post of Masters/Mistresses as per the details conditions notified by NCTE from time to time will be applicable.
Music –
- Candidate must have Passed a Graduate or its equivalent with Music as one of the elective subjects with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
- Bachelor of Education Degree recognized by NCTE with at least 50% marks in aggregate with music as a teaching subject or its equivalent.
- Graduate in any subject from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
Degree in Music from a recognized Institute with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
Punjabi –
- Candidate must have Passed a Graduate or its equivalent from a recognized University with Punjabi as an elective subject with at least 50% marks.
- Bachelor of Education Degree recognized by NCTE with at least 50% marks in aggregate or its equivalent with Punjabi as teaching subject.
- Pass in Central Teacher’s Eligibility Test (Paper-II) for the post of Masters/Mistresses as per the details conditions notified by NCTE from time to time will be applicable.
Sanskrit –
- Candidate must have Passed a Graduate or its equivalent from a recognized University with Sanskrit as an elective subject with at least 50% marks.
- Bachelor of Education Degree recognized by NCTE with at least 50% marks in aggregate or its equivalent with Sanskrit as teaching subject.
- Pass in Central Teacher’s Eligibility Test (Paper-Il) for the post of Masters/Mistresses as per the details conditions notified by NCTE from time to time will be applicable.
General Science Medical –
- Candidate must have Passed a Graduate with at least 50% marks from a recognized university with Zoology, Botany & Chemistry.
- Bachelor of Education Degree or its equivalent from an Institute recognized by NCTE with Science as a teaching subject and at least 50% marks in aggregate.
- Pass in Central Teacher’s Eligibility Test (Paper-II) for the post of Masters/ Mistresses as per the details conditions notified by NCTE from time to time will be applicable.
General Science Non-Medical –
- Candidate must have Passed a Graduate of a recognized university with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
- Bachelor of Education Degree or its equivalent from an Institute recognized by NCTE with Science/ Mathematics as a teaching subject and at least 50% marks in aggregate.
- Pass in Central Teacher’s Eligibility Test (Paper-Il) for the post of Masters/Mistresses as per the detailed conditions notified by NCTE from time to time will be applicable.
Age Limit
Candidates’ age limit should be a Minimum age of 21 years and a maximum age of 37 years.
Age Relaxation:
The maximum relaxation in the upper age limit will be as follows
For OBC candidates – 3 years
For SC/ST candidates – 5 years
For PwBD candidates – 10 years
For (PwBD) + OBC candidates – 13 years
For (PwBD) + SC/ ST candidates – 15 years
Pay Scale for Chandigarh TGT Recruitment 2024
Selected candidates for the post of TGT will get Level 07 Pay Matrix Monthly Pay Rs.9,300 to 34,800/-, Grade Pay Rs.4,600/- approx. Notification by Chandigarh
